Advance Parole for DACA Recipients

If you currently have valid, unexpired DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), then you might be eligible to obtain permission to briefly travel outside the United States and then return lawfully to resume your DACA status. There are two main benefits of Advance Parole: first, it allows you to leave the U.S. and visit family or friends abroad; second, if you married to a U.S. citizen, or have certain other familial connections to America, you might become eligible to file for lawful permanent residency (a green card).

The DACA Advance Parole program is totally dependent on the presidential administration. It was operational under the Obama administration, was cut during the Trump admin, and has been revived by President Biden, so this is a time-sensitive matter.
